Cammie was only ten when she met fifteen year old Trace. He teased her, and she hated him. He, however, knew that she was the girl he would marry.
When she was 13 (he was 18), they began courting (Cammie saw that Trace had become more mature over the years). They married just after Cammie's 14th birthday.
Both of them had rather wealthy parents, so they already have a decent home. Trace is working at his father's law firm. Cammie stays home, with their little daughter, Ethel Sofia Everhart.
