Much to the king's delight Gloriana gave birth to a healthy baby boy, named Leopold after his father, barely a year after their wedding. Leopold surprisingly changed and became a better person after the birth of his son and heir, he smiled more and lost his menacing appearance. Gloriana began to feel that perhaps the marriage would not be so bad after all.
