Family 1 - The D'Onofrio Family

Franco and Cece D'Onofrio with their children Cristina, Emil and Gio.
Franco D'Onofrio is currently under watch by the CIA who believe him to be involved in, both currently and previously when he resided in NYC, organised crime. Two of his brothers are serving time in prison and he definetely doesn't want to join them. He is very protective of his family and always wants the very best for them. Cece meanwhile, is in the middle of an accounting degree which she is able to do through an online university course.

The Pelletiers' money is old money. Christopher's great-grandfather was a French aristocrat who came to America shortly before the outbreak of WWI. He sold the family estate and everything in it and set sail for America in search of a new life with the millions he had gained from the sale of the estate. The Pelletier family are now very in to real estate and invest in new properties often before doing them up and selling them on. Both Christopher and Vanessa are involved in their little business which puts the kids through school while most of the family money has been placed in Swiss bank accounts for the children to access when they are older.

Kathryn Lindström is a very famous self-help book author. She met Carla when she was doing a book signing in NYC and Carla was in charge of security in the bookstore. They enjoyed a whirlwind romance and barely a few months later Carla moved out to Connecticut to be with Kathryn, bringing with her her daughter Laila from a previous relationship.
