HRM Octavian, Emperor of Sendeburgh and HRM Serena, Empress of Sendeburgh
Octavian (known within his family simply as Lukas) and Serena are a quiet, intellectual couple with the best interests of their empire at heart.
Octavian was born into the wealthy and influential Merrison-Coveham family, known for their just rule. Octavian never expected to become ruler of the vast empire and instead focused his attention on his studies. When Octavian's father Montague died suddenly when Octavian was still completing his studies his elder brother Montague Peregrine ascended to the throne. However, tragedy struck when Montague Peregrine passed away shortly after his coronation, suffering from consumption. Octavian, still a young man and only recently a graduate, took to the throne he had never expected.
He knew now that he must marry and build a political allegiance. Deeply unhappy that he would not be able to marry for love he was thrilled when, on a state visit, he was introduced to the incredibly beautiful Serena, a Germanic princess. The couple fell blissfully in love and married soon after.
They now spend their time reading and writing whilst Serena plays the piano beautifully and Octavian paints portraits.
