Welcome Murad, Imani, Sethunya, and George!
in reply to a message by Rachel Dianne
Murad is a 7-year-old boy from Cairo, Egypt. He has brown hair and brown eyes. His parents were too poor to support him. They would like to contact him. He likes coloring, cats, and writing. He is a Muslim, but not that religious.
Imani is a 13-year-old girl from Zanzibar, Tanzania. She has black hair and black eyes. Her parents were killed by extremists. Imani likes dancing, talking, and cooking. She is also Muslim, but not that religious.
Sethunya is a 16-year-old girl from rural South Africa. She has black hair and black eyes. Her parents died after being infected with HIV. Luckily, Sethunya doesn't have the disease. She got pregnant, and the resulting boy died a few months later. Sethunya is very shy. She likes animals, plants, and playing with children.
George Devin is a 10-year-old boy from Bismarck, North Dakota. He has blond hair and blue eyes. His father left the family and his mother is dead. He likes basketball, drawing, and writing.
All children speak some English. Please update!

Thank you for these four wonderful people. A year has gone by and everyone is doing well and finally adjusted. Both Murad and Imani call their parents once every one or two weeks and the family is going to go on a family trip to Egypt soon, where Murad and Imani will be able to see their biological family again. Sethunya was very shy at first, but she has warmed up to our family and is no longer shy around them. She is however still shy around people she does not know very well. George is doing good and has recently joined a kid basketball team.
Murad, Imani, and Sethunya all got to pick middle names also. Sethunya, after much thought, picked Asha which is an African name, but is also easy for Americans to say. Murad picked Sean since it an Egyptian mythology name but also easy to say. Imani has recently started to love Greek Mythology so she picked Athena.
Thank you again for these four wonderful people. We look forward to making our family even bigger in the future
