How They Met
Clem and Dean have known each other for over 17 years, a loving story that began back in 80’s. Clem was daughter of Robert (Bobbie) St. Singer and Dean was son of John E. Winchester. Bobbie and John were old friends and so the same happen with their kids. Clem was 7 and Dean was 8. Dean later admit that he had a crush on her from the moment he laid eyes on her, but he would have to postpone his pursuit of Clem and wait many more years before he would finally have his chance and his true love.
How They Met Again!
Surprisingly, Clem and Dean lost contact with one another for over 8 years before a twist of fate brought them back together in 2003. One day while passing through the mall Clem ran into an old Hunter friend with whom Dean had been casually exchanging email correspondence with recently. After spending the night with this friend, Clem decided to phone Dean at his mobile because there were some supernatural deaths. The day before Dean was scheduled to leave the for Arizona he received a phone call from Clem that brought a feeling to his stomach that made him feel as awkward and innocent as he did on that first day in 80’s when he first laid eyes on her.
Upon their meeting, he started to asked Clem millions questions and not about the deaths. Whom did she marry? How many kids did she have? Where was she living? Much to his surprise and utter SHOCK, he could not believe that a woman with all that she has to offer would not have found the man of her dreams by now and the American dream of every little girls fantasy the white picket fence surrounding a well-manicured yard, on a sunny Spring day, accented by the sounds of laughing children coupled with the rumble of pitter-patter on the soft rye grass.
It was as if it were love at first sight all over again! They tried to hide their strong feelings for one another over dinner later that evening, but there was neither ocean too deep nor any galaxy far enough away that could suppress the magnetism and gleam in their eyes.
The Engagement
Clem and Dean were engaged on July 3, 2006 in Salem Town, Massachusetts, at her annual family reunion.. Without any of Clem’s family having any knowledge of his engagement plans, Dean managed to plan everything. On the next day, in front of her entire family, as Dean usually stand strong and resounding he nervously and intimately stumbled through a tearfully joyous proposal that ended in tears and cheers, embarking on the first official step of a childhood crush now becoming a reality.
