DD: Victoria Lynn (July 12, 2011)(3)
DS/DS: William Bryan "Willie" and John Kane "Johnny" (May 15, 2013)(1)
DS: Edward Campbell (October 25, 2014)
The Sokoll family's seventh boy, Edward Campbell was born on October 25, 2014. He was a very unexpected addition--Nikki and Kolya had agreed that they were done having kids--three sets of twins and two singletons was more than enough. However, Edward had other plans. He was born a month and a half early, with some nasty health problems. After undergoing open heart surgery and having eye surgery to correct his lazy eyes, Edward was able to go home. At the age of four months he developed a GI tract infection that he had to be hospitalized for. Now however, he seems to be on the road to recovery. His parents and siblings are very glad that he is better now.
Kolya is still playing ice hockey. He's been with Philadelphia for close to ten years now, and he loves it there. He has become one of the mentors on the team, though he wouldn't ever admit the great influence he has on his peers.
Nikki is glad she made the decision to be a stay at home mom after Joey and Jacie were born. She definitely wasn't expecting to have six more children in eight years, but she loves having the kids around and enjoys being able to raise them.
Matthew is now eleven. He is serious about playing hockey, and he practices a lot. He is also a lover of languages. Besides being fluent in Russian, English, and Spanish, Matthew has recently picked up an interest in German and Swedish.
Joey and Jacie are eight. They are in third grade. Joey likes hockey, just like his brother. He loves to be outside running around. He is the ringleader of sorts for his younger brothers. Matthew is always properly behaved and whatever mischief occurs can usually be blamed on Joey's scheming. Jacie is an agile little gymnast. She loves doing flips and enjoys the high bars and balance beam the best. She is sweet, but a bit of a tomboy in spite of her gymnastic aspirations.
Isaiah and Bryan are seven. They just started second grade. They follow Joey around and are pretty much considered his sidekicks. Isaiah and Bryan are inseperable, and they do a lot of things together because they enjoy much the same activities. At the top of their list is playing in the treehouse in the backyard, followed by playing with action figures and playing hockey.
Victoria is three. She likes to help Nikki a lot with her little brothers. She just started doing gymastics (its actually more like dance) and she loves it. She pretty much idolizes Jacie and tries to act like her whenever possible.
Willie and Johnny are one. They run around the house all day and cause havoc. They skipped the crawling stage and were walking at 10 months. They like to follow the older kids around and make nuisances of themselves, but Matthew especially seems to enjoy their presence.
