So, Franklin & Maya came home from their lovely trip to Niagara Falls to two sets of very upset parents. Franklin’s parents were upset because they though Maya just wanted to marry their son for money. Maya’s parents were upset because she didn’t have a Catholic ceremony and didn’t marry a Christian. The parents gave their children the silent treatment for pretty much the whole year after the two got married.
Franklin ended up getting a great job at a law firm and Maya got excepted to a prestigious PhD program. With their small savings and new incomes, they were able to purchase a lovely little home near a vineyard. Everything was going “just as planned” when Maya discovered she was pregnant. It wasn’t the most opportune time to have a child, but when Franklin & Maya hear their son’s heartbeat for the first time it was magic.
Ezra’s birth brought the family together. Suddenly, Maya’s parents didn’t care about religion and Franklin’s didn’t care about money. All they saw was their olive-skinned, curly-haired, brown-eyed, and beautiful grandson.
*I’m too lazy to find out how old I made them when I signed up; therefore, the above are their ages. I decree it to be so!
