Kaitlyn Abigail is a two-year-old girl from New York City. She was taken from her home at seven months of age when social workers discovered her mother, who had been in and out of jail on prostitution charges, was planning to sell her on the black market. Her mother failed to do what was necessary to get her back, and she was legally released for adoption.

Kaitlyn has curly brown hair and blue eyes. She is a very happy child, and her foster family reports that she hardly ever cries. She is still drinking from a bottle and also eats solid foods - she loves bananas!
