Things took a turn for the worst after Beckett started high school. He began hanging out with the wrong crowd and getting into all sorts of trouble; his parents even threatened to send him to boot camp if he didn't shape up. He swore he would, but only a few weeks later, he shocked his whole family by revealing that his girlfriend Sofia was pregnant. Cole and Bella were understandably disappointed in their son but knew they had to support him and Sofia. After the birth of his little boy Liam, Beckett finally started getting his act together and accepting adult responsibilities for his family. Cole and Bella are proud of how he's stepped up, although they wish it had happened under far different circumstances.
