Larry and Janis met their senior year of high school in their math class. Both of them were bored out of their minds there, and spent most of the semester passing notes to one another. At the end of the semester, Larry asked Janis to prom, and she accepted.
After they graduated, they went to separate colleges, but spent their summers together. After they both graduated college, they married.
