Luna is now a happy and rather shy two-year-old girl, who enjoys painting with crayons and playing with her teddy bear. She also loves playing with her twin cousins, who were born some weeks after she came home.
Some months after Luna's first birthday, Jo started to think about a second adoption. While in the process, she met Liam. Her friend Leah had talked about him a few times, but Jo had never paid attention until one afternoon when Leah invited him over. Jo and Liam immediately hit it off, and she was pleased to learn that he was very fond of children. Liam went to visit them several times in the next months; sometimes Jo, Luna and Liam would go for a walk in the park, other times Luna would stay with Leah, and Jo and Liam would go to the cinema. Liam also started going to weekend lunchs with Jo's family.
Almost a year after her application, another little girl came home. Jo decided to call her Signy, which means "victory". Unlike her sister, she is a very active and nosy baby, but seems to be really at ease at her new home. Luna is simply delighted to have a little sister to take care of, and she calls her "my doll".
Jo and Liam plan to find a new house to move in together; they want to get married eventually and Liam wants to adopt the girls.
