Sebastian/Emma dies. Of what and how do you take it?
It has been hard times in our family recently... Seb had been in the Navy for years, and had been in some pretty dangerous situations... I guess we had all accepted that eventually that would be how he would go, so when the police turned up at the door to tell us that Seb had been in a car accident on his way to work, well, none of us believed that he would die. But he did.
Naturally, we've all been hit hard by his death. He was truly the head of our family, and his presence is sadly missed. It's hard, but we're just getting through it as best we can. Time heals all wounds so we're just taking things day by day and hoping that each is a little easier than the one before.

We recently found that Ben has taken a habit to lying about completing his homework. We had figured that at ten, we could trust him with doing it and turning it in on time (after all, we'd never had a problem with any of the other kids doing so). But, with a phone call, his teacher let us know that he wasn't consistenly doing the work that he was supposed to. Education has always mattered immensely to John, and so neither he nor I were impressed with Ben's behavior. He was punished, and now, he comes home and immediately does his homework at the kitchen table, and one of us checks to make sure it's complete. Needless to say, Ben isn't thrilled with the arrangement, but we've let him know that when he can be trusted again, we'll no longer make him do the work in front of us.

Round 10: Suddenly Danae has a lot of money. Where did they come from?
Danae has always had a great voice - Bill says she takes after him! She decided to go to an audition for a talent search show, just to try it out, but the judges loved her! Not only she made it onto the show, as she actually won! She went through the whole thing as "Danae K." because people would instantly recognize the name Kahler. She's very happy and working on getting a band together, so she can start her own record.
Round 11: Your oldest child (Mikey) hates school. Why?
When Kat was pregnant with Avery, she and Hugo decided to get married, but only after the baby was born. When she told her parents about it, Bill had an idea: since he and Sara never married, he proposed and the two couples got married in the same cerimony. Johanna and the twins Matty and Greg were ring bearers for Bill and Sara Sofia, while Mikey, Bobby and Philippa, accompanied by Bella, carried the rings for Kat and Hugo. It was a big day for the whole family!
Mikey is a very bright young man. He should be in first grade, but he has skipped through 2 and he's now in third. But because he's the youngest in his class, a lot of the older kids are mean to him. He has even told Kat that he didn't want to go to school anymore, he wanted to learn things at home. Kat and Hugo went to the school and talked to his teacher about the problem. Mikey doesn't hate school so much anymore, but he still has some difficulty in making friends.

We found out that Jonas has started smoking. Neither of us have ever smoked, and we were definitely not happy when we found out. We talked to Jonas about the dangers of smoking and said that he wont get any money from us if he continues to smoke. Jonas promised to quit, but we have doubts that he hasn't.

Aoife decided to beomce a stay at home mother. She wanted to be there for her children and see them grow up together. We all think it's a good idea but we don't know for how long she will be doing this, after all, it's not easy to be home with three children aged 5, 4 and 3.
