Sebastian has always been a very fit, active person and hadn't really been enjoying his sedentry job as an accountant. Emma couldn't beleive it when he came home from work late one day, and proceeded to tell her that he'd joined the Navy! Emma was upset obvioulsy, but mainly because Seb hadn't bothered to discuss such a life-changing thing with her before he went ahead and joined up. They talked about and Emma accepted that this is what Seb needed to do, and so has agreed to support him. Luckily, he's been stationed on the base so shouldn't have to spend too much time away from home.
