After his teachers at school raised a concern, Lily and Alex had James tested and discovered that he is colourblind. Although initially he was teased by a few of his classmates, he has now turned it to an advantage and entertains them all by letting them test him on the colours in the room. His teachers have all been very understanding and the doctors say that it shouldn't affect him too much throughout the course of his life.
