When Cecilia found out she was pregnant, she was afraid to tell Sebastian, because before they were married, he had made it clear that he didn't want children. As she started showing, she realized that she would have to tell him he was pregnant sooner or later. Finally, she told him she was pregnant…and he was not the father. They got in a huge fight and Sebastian told Cecilia he was leaving her and moved out immediately. When Cecilia started going into labor, her mother, who hadn't been informed of the split, called Sebastian. He wasn't going to go to the hospital, but he realized how much he loved Cecilia and even though the child wasn't his, he wanted to be there for her. When he arrived at the hospital, James was already born. Cecilia's mother commented on how Jamie looked just like his father. Sebastian held the baby and Cecilia confessed that it really was his…She said that she thought he'd leave her anyways if she kept the baby, so she decided it would be easier to tell him it wasn't his at first. They both apologized to each other and Sebastian realized that he was meant to be a father, the second he saw his son.
