Eric’s younger brother died in a car crash. Do you adopt his one-year old daughter?
It was a beautiful summer night when 16-year-old Marcian Patricius Melibee Pitcairn IV, only son of famous business tycoon, took his father's Ferrari. He had been partying all day, drinking and taking drugs with his girlfriend. Soon he lost control of his car and crashed into another car, killing himself, his girlfriend, and a young couple Oscar and Annie Farmer.
Eric was in shock when he heard about the accident. Eric's 21-year-old brother Oscar and his 20-year-old wife Annie had been killed by a drunk driver. Their 1-year-old daughter Leonie, who had also been in the car, was in hospital but not seriously injured.
Eric and Norah visited Leonie at the hospital every day. When Leonie was released from the hospital, they took her to live with them. Later they decided to adopt her. Now, 6 months after the accident, Leonie is a happy child who loves stuffed animals and adores her big brother Adrian.
