When he woke up, at the hospital, he saw Kat holding his hand and crying - for a minute he thought he had died. But when she discovered he was awake, she kissed him and told her how much she had missed him. As happy as he was to see her, something about him felt wrong. He realized why he had that feeling when the doctor came in and told him all about the accident, and how the damage had affected his legs. He wouldn't be able to walk, he was going to have to use a wheelchair.
With all the tragedy that has stricken this family, Kat and all the children are just happy to have him home again, safe. For three years they had to live without Hugo, but now he's back. And he is commited to physiotherapy; as little hope as the doctors gave him, he refuses to give up.

Belle awoke one morning to a faint whining sound. Thinking it was her 3 year old, Mollie, she quietly got out of bed and walked down the hall to Mollie's room. After peeking in to find her quietly slumbering daughter, she walked through the house trying to encounter the source of the noise.
She realized, finally, that the noise was coming from outside the front door. Confused, and with a foreboding feeling, she opened the door to find a shivering, crying, baby boy wrapped only in a thin blanket. Shocked, she fervently looked all around her house and the street hoping to see the caretakers of this baby. With no luck, she looked down at the pitiful boy, who looked to be about 3 months old. She noticed he was laying on a piece of paper. She picked the baby up, and quickly scanned the contents of the note. In her surprise, she dropped the note and stared into space. It couldn't be, she thought. How could this happen? What DID happened? These questions swirled in her head as she picked up the note and went into the kitchen.
She held the baby, Harrison's baby, in her arms as she waited for her husband to wake and come sleepily stumbling into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. The note had said, short and simple, "This is Colin Haley, son of Harrison James. Please take him. I cannot provide for him any longer." It was signed Cassie King. As Belle's anger was rising, she heard her husband's unmistakable footsteps.
"Explain this," she said as he walked into the room. She got up and placed the baby in his arms and gave him the note. Harrison's eyes were completely round with shock.
"Oh my God," he said dully.
"I'm waiting for your answer, Harrison," a furious Belle growled at her husband.

We have adopted a wonderful fifteen year old named Lilé Mary-Jane. We her foster family for two years starting when she was eight, because her mother was a alcoholic. But then it was decided that Lilé's mother was capable of raising her again, so Lilé went back to living with her mother. After a few months, her mother's alcohol problems started getting worse again, and Lilé suffered a lot. She got pregnant when she was thirteen, and before she could tell her mother she was put back in the fostering system. She stayed there until after her son, Davian Bennett, was born, but the family she was in often neglected her and her baby. When we heard about Lilé, we were determined to help her, and the result is that she has now been adopted into our family. Little Dave just turned one and Lilé is back in school. It's a joy having both of them, and Lilé is a very responsible young lady.
Ben and Alex, our "baby twins", love having Dave as a little brother to play with, and when Bella isn't playing with the "big twins", Frank and Matt, she is a great big sister to all the little ones. Tom, Ji and Nora are still a trio, but I think Tom is growing up real fast and might soon not want to play with the younger kids.

Faith gave birth to twin boys!
The Thoresen family has spent four years getting to know one another. Matt and Faith were happy with their son and daughters, but wished that they might have one more child of their own. Faith gave birth to twin boys!
The Thoresen family has spent four years getting to know one another. Matt and Faith were happy with their son and daughters, but wished that they might have one more child of their own. They were elated when Faith gave birth to twin boys Elijah and Bobby! The boys are identical. They are well-loved by everyone in the family, especially the Quinn-Thoresen girls who love babies. Jonny was very excited to have little brothers at last. Emily and Siran have been very helpful with the boys, but for some reason Izzy resents all the attention that the little boys get. Faith is hoping that she'll come around.

After seven years of trying, we were finally able to have another child of their own. Everyone is ecstatic. Louisa says that while she has Fiona, she has always wanted to babysit and has offered to do so regularly when it fits in with her busy rugby schedule. We will miss her so much when she goes off to the university next year. Reuben and Norah love to help out with the baby, but are thrilled that Colin's room is next to Mommy and Daddy's instead of their's. Eli, Thomas and Fiona help whenever they can. Eli is great at silly dancing to keep Colin entertained while I cook dinner, and Thomas and Fiona love to run little errands, like finding his diapers or getting a fresh bottle. Its so nice to have one person who ties the entire family together!

Kate must be very fertile woman. Her first pregnancy was also sextuplets but Kate & Hunter chose to undergo selective reduction which was the hardest decision they had ever made. Kate thought that she wouldn't have to face such a heartbreaking decision never again, but she was wrong. Seven years later she was again in a similar situation. Hunter was sure that selective reduction was the best option, but Kate just couldn't do it again. The sextuplets were born three months early on Valentine's Day. Two of them, a boy named Valentine and a girl named Zoe, died soon after birth. The surviving babies Tristan, Scarlett, Miranda and Freya have suffered many health problems due to their premature birth. Tristan is blind, and it's not known yet if the girls have any long-term health effects. Doctors say that the children will likely have mild learning disabilities in the future.

Lynn saw a scruffy-looking long-haired stray cat in the middle of the road on her way home from work. Turns out, the cat is a beautiful Persian who hasn't been taken care of, but it only about 6 months old, by the vet's guess. With 6 girls voting to keep the kitty and no real reason not to, William and Lynn couldn't say no, so that battle was easily won. Cathalina and Lucy decided it was their responsibility to name him, and they chose a mouthful. Luckily, he only goes by "SamSam" (which is Sarah's attempt at 'Samson') most of the time :)

Ruth and Liam also welcomed twin boys to the family! David Alexander is a healthy little boy with big blue eyes and a lot of brown hair. His twin brother, Adrian Tennyson, also has blue eyes but his hair is reddish/blonde.
