Holden joined the Army Reserves in the last year and we just found out he is going to be deployed in the next few months. Thankfully, he was assigned to Kuwait and not Iraq, but the situation still really scares Leigh. She will have to raise Sophia on her own, and although her parents and her friends are going to help out a lot, it will be a lot to handle by herself. Holden is due to be in Kuwait for a year.

They flew through the requirements for being adoptive parents and were surprised when, after only eight months, they had adopted a little girl from Macedonia. Iskra Marija was born to a single mother who could not take care of her. She was placed into a Macedonian orphanage. Matt and Faith were very lucky to be able to adopt so quickly. They brought Iskra home and have enjoyed having their dark-haired little princess. Because most of their friends and neighbors stumbled over the name Iskra, Matt gave her the nickname Izzy and it has stuck so far.

Kate and Hunter had not used any fertility treatments and they were shocked when they found out that Kate was expecting sextuplets. After serious thinking and consulting the doctors Kate and Hunter decided that selective reduction would be best option for them because the surviving children would have a bigger chance of being healthy. And carrying sextuplets would also have been a huge risk to Kate. Still it was the hardest decision they had ever made. Several months later Kate gave birth to triplets, two girls and a boy. The triplets were born 7 weeks prematurely but without major health problems. They were named Norah, Sophia & Edward.

From Claire's perspective: After all of our struggles, after moving across an ocean last year, Ireland finally feels like home with the addition of Eli to the family. Since he was born here, he will have citizenship before the rest of us, but we are working to catch up with him. Reuben and Norah have started a preschool here with a lovely woman, Mrs. Callaghan. They are counting, saying their ABCs, and even learning a few words of Gaelic. The house is beautiful, a large rambling manor house with more than enough room for just the five of us. We've adopted two dogs from the local shelter, Niall and Molloy. Three cats, Whisper, Wilder and Wishes, seem to have been included in the price of the house. All things considered, we're doing very well; now we just need to work on filling up this house!

Kat had an extra special day nine months before the twins were born - not only she found out she was pregnant, but she won the talent search contest! She recorded her first album while she was expecting the girls, and now that they're born and the album's out she will take a few months and then start promoting it. Hugo and all the kids are going with her, of course - she couldn't bare to be away from them too long.
Naming the twins was sort of a problem. Kat and Hugo "ran out" of names with the first daughters! Kat liked Sarah, but all the other names were chosen by Hugo. He gave Kat a list of names he was considering and she liked Selwyn and Hyacinth the best. As the other girl's name was gonna start with S, they decided to go with Selwyn.

Liam's best friend Mary recently died of cancer. Her husband died only one year before her in a car accident to they had nobody to take care of their two children. Liam asked Ruth and they decided to take them in. It was a big shock for Lucy and Jenny but they are doing quite fine. They doesn't talk much about what happened but they also seems to understand that they can talk with anybody in the house whenever they want to.
Isabella is nove fifteen and little James is two. He loves water and cars but he also loves when Jenny plays with him. He's a very social little boy and can never get enough of attention.
Liam and Ruth love their family but they are now thinking of having children on their own. Much to their surprise they also decided that Leo can stay in the house.
