Henry and Claire decided against selective reduction. Seven of the octuplets were born alive 14 and a half weeks premature, one girl, whom they named Leonora as to give her a proper burial, was stillborn. The rest have survived to be taken home and are doing well, although George has been diagnosed with Cerebal Palsy.
