How your couples meet? Two years ago, Lucho was transfered from his old club in Argentina to a portuguese club. He soon became one of the croud's favourite players - including Maria's, who was at the time a member of the club's cheer. One day, Lucho was going back home from practice with his best friend Lisandro (also a football player in the club), when he almost hit a girl on the street - only he was able to stop at the very last minute. It was Maria - she had been fired and was very distraught. She was so scared she just stood in the middle of the road, until she was approched by two of her favourite star players, asking her if she was ok. She was so surprised and still shaky from what had happend that she just said she was ok and ran out of there as quick as she could. The next home game, she was cheering close to the field as usual, and Lucho noticed her and remembered her. After that big win, some players, including Lucho, went to a club to celebrate - the one where Maria was with her friends. He approached her to talked to her about what had happened - and they intantly clicked. The rest is history...
How did your families react at your decision to get married? Maria's parents are deceased, and her godfather (who she lives with) almost had a heart attack when she told him - he's big fan too. Lucho has a very big family, but when his parents met Maria they instantly liked her - she's a down to Earth girl like them.
What *kind* of person your couple is? Lucho is a very stubborn, confident (one might even say cocky!) and strong guy. Maria's head tends to be up in the clouds, but she's sweet and very talented. All in all they are good people and very supportive of each other's careers.
