It has been 7 years since we first welcomed home our first child: Logan! Now we have three precious boys: Logan, Asher, and Parker.
Logan is now 7 and is a brilliant little boy! He is bright and ahead of all of his classmates in math and science and reading- he does need to work on his writting though- I swear I can't read anything he writes even if he tells me exactly what it says! We've been working on this! He's also quite the shy kid too. He does have friends, but he's not one to jump up and talk to someone new. Speaking of friends, Logan's teacher told us that he and one of his classmates have declared themselves boyfriend and girlfriend! We talked to Logan about it and he blushed and told us that her name was Maisie and they've been dating for three whole months. Shane was laughing while I had no clue what to say about it! He even got her a stuffed animal from the toy store when we last went pretending that it was for himself. A little gentlemen he was to present it with some flowers he picked from our garden before he ran off to the bus stop! Shane and I haven't met her yet, but there is a parent's night at school where there are games, children sing songs, and we get to see all the stuff they have been working on- hopefully we'll get to meet Maisie and her parents there! Although not what I wanted at age seven, I do have to say that it is adorable to hear Logan talk about her and get that stuffed toy all ready for her!
Asher is completley opposite of his brother in so many ways! Asher loves to talk, meet new people, and has enough energy to keep Shane and I running after him for days! His favorite thing to do is play basketball- he loves it! We put him on a team and he's great! He's especially good at defence- he can get the ball from any kid! He's also a good shooter- beats us at PIG all the time! His other interest is his new brother. He can't wait to play with him and teach him basketball- literally! All the time, Asher is handing him the ball and expecting Parker to just start to play with him and we keep telling him that he can't play somethings just yet- he obviously doesn't understand that. We have gotten him to just push a smaller ball back and forth with him, but Asher gets bored of the baby play too easily and again wants Parker to play real basketball with him. Oi!
Our newest addition to our family is Parker. He's beautiful and we're not yet sure what his personality will be like, but as of now, he's a mixture of both of his brothers- something that Shane and I hope willa ctually come to pass!
