Jordan and Kirsty met when Jordan partook in a study abroad program through his university when he was 20. For a year, he lived and attended classes at Lund University in Sweden. Over the year, he took a couple classes with Kirsty where they met and quickly became romantic intrests. After the year was up, the two stayed in close contact- both visiting each other until Jordan finished university. When he finished, he moved to Sweden where he worked while Kirsty finished university. They married after Kirsty's graduation and decided to move back to Jordan's home in California.
