Now that our children are grown-up, John and I decided to adopt a little girl from Mexico. Her given name is Cristina, though we've decided to change it to something with a slight more English feel to it, and so, we are calling her Melissa Christina. She's a sweet little girl, who is three years old, and loves to play with dolls and dress up. We decided to adopt from Mexico because my family is from the country, and so we thought it'd be a great way to further link my heritage.

And our family has grown by leaps and bounds, as of late, with a number of marriages and the arrival of many grandchildren. Jacob and Sarah welcomed triplets: Cole, Madeline, and Evan. Natalie and Deacon are the proud parents of twins: Connor and Ella. John married his long-time girlfriend, Michelle, and they now have a son, Trevor. And Ava married her boyfriend, Isaac, and together they now have twins: Luke and Sara.
