John and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our first child -- a son -- whom we have named for his father, John Spencer, Jr. John was born June 28th, at 10:04 PM, weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces; 19 1/2 inches long. He has quite a bit of blonde hair and blue eyes, and there's no doubt that he resembles his daddy. He's a happy baby boy who loves to be held and is quite curious about everything around him.
