Cecil and Annie Milton are proud to announce the marriage of their adopted daughter, Lillian Flora Sanders-Milton, to Joel Emmett Maynard. May the Lord bless their union.
Sadly, Maxine disappeared from home less than a week before she was to marry her fiancee, Howard Nelson. Her parents were distraught and police, family, friends, and townsfolk all searched the city for days, but there was no trace of her to be found. The police assume she is a runaway, especially considering her feelings about her impending marriage.
Joel and Lillie Maynard are proud to announce the birth of their son, Edmund Joel! Edmund joins big sister Millie.
Shortly before Josie and Jesse were to be married, Hector went to his mother and confessed that he was in love with Jesse's younger sister, Maria. Annie wasn't particularly surprised - she'd always been rather naturally inclined to be able to spot things like that, and given that the two spent a lot of time together (Jesse and Hector were best friends, after all, giving Hector ample time to see Maria) it was almost inevitable. With a little bit of string-pulling she was able to arrange a double wedding; Josie to Jesse and Hector to Maria.
Cecil and Annie Milton are doubly blessed as they welcome two new children to their extended family through marriage - Jesse Lambert to their daughter, Josie; and Maria Lambert to Josie's twin brother, Hector.
A second son was born to Fred and Rosie Milton on February 5, 1923. Samuel Julius joins brother Freddie and sisters Margot and Norma.
Nick and Alice Forrest are thrilled to announce the birth of their first child, a girl! Alberta Gwendolen was born on June 14th, 1924.
Olive Isabella Milton and Clifford Ezekial Dallas would like to announce their engagement! The engagement has the full support of both Olive's parents, Cecil and Annie, and Clifford's parents, Gerard and Eva.
Joel and Lillie Maynard welcome a third child! Anne Margaret was born on March 11, 1925, and joins sister Millie and brother Edmund. Anne was named for Lillie's adoptive mother, Anna Marjorie "Annie."
Unbeknowst to his parents, Louis has been secretly seeing a girl named Nami, the daughter of two Japanese immigrants. They worry that their parents will not approve and are considering eloping.
A tragedy has occured in the Milton family. Carolyn Jeanette was born stillborn on June 28th, 1925. Her parents, Fred and Rosie, and her whole family grieves for her loss.
Jesse and Josie Lambert welcome their first children, twins! Julia Charlotte and Jerome Conrad were born on August 2nd, 1925.
