Maddie breaks her leg. How did it happen? How is she?
Last week when Natalie, John, and Maddie were playing outside, John thought it would be fun if the three of them climbed up the tree in the backyard and sat up there. Natalie didn't go for it but John and Maddie went up and climbed all the way to the top. Evan and I didn't even notice they were gone, we were on the porch and when we saw Natalie in the sand box we figured they were fine. Next minute we hear screaming from John and Maddie's direction - Maddie fell out of the tree. We rushed her to the hospital only to find that she had broken her left leg. She has a cast on it and is unable to walk for quite a while, but she is doing okay now. John got in a lot of trouble when Natalie told us that it was all his idea, but Maddie got in plenty of trouble too. Evan and I are just happy that they are okay, though.

Well what a few months we have had! When Daniel and i first married we lived in an apartment in Paris and when Jean Claude came along, although it was a squeeze, we decided to stay on for the moment because we loved the place so much. However, our daughter Rosanna was born 4 months ago so we took the plunge and decided to buy our own house somewhere. One of the old trees surrounding the farm house had been hit by lightening and it had crashed into the west side of the house! Luckily all the bedrooms are on the east side so no one was hurt. The family is now staying with friends in the village but Daniel and i really need to start looking for our own place in earnest now. Watch this space!

Jesus Eduardo's parents moved to the US for a better life, but they couldn't afford to keep him. They knew that it would be only the best for him to find a new home. If they had kept him, he would have to sit alone in the house all day while his parents were at work, and they knew this would not be safe. We decided to adopt him, and gave him the name Jacob, a more common US name. He loves being called Jacob, and wants us to nickname him Jake, so we did.
Jake is doing just fine in school and everywhere else. He has made many new friends and is learning English quite well. It took some time at first, but since I speak Spanish, we can communicate well! Eliza and Odelia just love having a big brother.

As you'll all know this year has been pretty eventful for us.
Most importantly we welcomed Ginnifer, a little sister for Nathan. She's beautiful and absolutely healthy in every possible way which is a great relief for us as we were worried that the injuries I had sustained when the tree collapsed may have injured her.
Nathan's coping brilliantly being a big brother and loves to help out with feeding and changed Ginny. He's also doing great, having been given the all-clear from the doctor who treated him after the storm.
Our house has also been given the all-clear! After lots of stressful arguments with the planning department, we're now free to live in the house and it's absolutely marvellous.
However, last but not least was the startling revelation that I have a younger sister. It turns out that my dad had an affair with a colleague when I was four years old. I had already known that when I was a young child, Dad had suffered from depression because of our money trouble. The lady with whom he had an affair (Francesca) left suddenly and he returned to my mum and has stayed faithfully loving her ever since. This was extremely difficult for me to accept but after a couple of months, Johnny persuaded me to make contact and although things are strained, Dad and I are back to having some semblance of a normal father/daughter relationship.

James is happy to announce that he is a big brother! Jacob Lonnie surprised us all by coming into the world six weeks early, weighing only 3 pounds, 12 ounces; 18 inches long. He had to stay in the NICU for about a month before we were able to bring him home, much to the disappointment of James, who was eager to be able to hold him. It was a emotionally difficult time for John and I (particularly me), as all I wanted was to have both my boys at home.
Now, four months later, Jacob is doing wonderfully and growing so quickly. He's a happy, healthy baby boy, who loves to watch his big brother's every move.

Dave and I had considered waiting longer than two years to have another child, but we both decided that we wanted our children to be fairly close in age, so, when the triplets turned one, we started trying for another baby. Dave was thrilled to find out we were having a boy. We named him Max, after Dave's father. We figured that after having triplets, one newborn would be easy, but we were very quickly proven wrong when we brought Max home. The girls are used to being the center of everyone's attention, so they've been a little jealous of the new baby.
A few weeks after Max was born, we had the worst thunderstorm that this region has seen in years. We were away for the weekend visiting my parents, and just as we were about to leave on Sunday morning, we got a call from our neighbor, who told us that a tree had fallen on our house in the middle of the night. Most of the damage was in the living room. The entire wall was destroyed, along with the new TV that Dave just bought two months ago, and there was a lot of water damage from the rain. A window in the hallway was also broken. We're staying with my parents for a while longer until the damage is repaired. The girls are a little confused, but they're happy that they get to stay with their grandparents, and having extra help with the kids has been nice.

People say falling in love is like feeling the earth move. That's certainly what Rafe and I felt when staring down in awe at our new son, Luca Romeo--and I mean that literally! When Luca was just minutes old, the first earthquake in recorded history struck our town. The damage to homes and local businesses was extensive, so we are relocating to Jacksonville, Florida where Rafe will work for a subsidiary of his current company. Rafe's mother, Nancy, is coming with us, but will (hopefully) soon move into an apartment or condo of her own, close enough to babysit. It's so strange to think that we planned to raise our children here, and now we are leaving and may never come back.

It took us forever, but we finally decided on Silvia Anabela for our new little girl. Caspian tends to like spellings I don't care for, as in Sylvya Annabella. Finally though, I convinced him that there were too many 'y's and double letters.
Lyra is really taking well to her new little sister, whom we've decided to call Anabela, instead of Silvia, after my grandmother. We feel so blessed to have two little girls!

It has been two years since Cat was born. Since then, Jacob Dalton Fallon was born. Jacob is a beautiful baby. He was very healthy and healthy.
Some sad news, Cat has PTSD. PTSD or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, is a disorder that anyone can get, that has been through something traumatic. This is very rare in Cat age range, but it still happened. In Cat's case, she was at her babysitter house and a man broke into the house and killed her babysitter. Laura (a 9 year old girl there), grab Cat and other little boy named Nick, hid in a closet. The man never saw them, but Cat could see the whole thing. After the man was gone for a hour, Laura called the police. After the ordeal, Cat had terrible nightmares. She would wake-up crying and yelling. At first, they were mild, but they kept getting worst. So, we took Cat to the docter's and the told us that she had PTSD. This is a mild case, but we don't know if she will get better. The doctors told us that Cat may suffer depression or a panic disorder. Now, all we can do is surround Cat with happiness and good things. We took a trip to George's mother house, and Cat just loved it. Cat is going to therapy and is getting better. Hopefully, one day Cat will no longer have this problem.

There was a nasty storm and a tree fell on your house, causing the roof to collapse! Is everyone alright? What happens?
Wil, Lydia, and Matt are exciting to welcome Dakota Braiden Thompson to the family! Dakota was born on February 8 at 12:30 at night. His older brother Matt, who is now 2, was very excited to meet him and is anxious to play with him. Wil is happy to be a father for the second time and Lydia loves taking care of her boys.
In November, there was a nasty snowstorm with lots of ice. A tree in the backyard fell on the house, causing the entire roof to collapse. The tree fell close to the middle of the house, so much of the house was damaged. Lydia was upstairs checking on Matt at the time (Dakota was not born yet). The tree fell just down the hall. It happened very quickly, but Lydia was able to shield Matt from the falling ceiling, but got hit with some bits of drywall. Fortunately, the neighbors heard the tree fall and called the house. When Lydia didn't answer the phone, the neighbors called 9-1-1. When the paramedics arrived, they found Lydia and Matt in Matt's bedroom, waiting to be rescued. Lydia was singing to her son and that helped the rescuers to find them. Lydia was afraid to move in case the house wasn't structurally sound. Lydia and Matt were taken to the hospital and treated for some minor cuts and bruises. They were kept overnight for observation and left the next morning.
Where was Wil during all of this? He was in Ottawa playing a hockey game. The same neighbor that called Lydia before calling 9-1-1 got the phone number from Lydia where she could reach Wil. The neighbor called and Wil left Ottawa to come home right away. He arranged for his family to stay with one of his teammates and his family until the house could be repaired. In the end, Wil and Lydia ended up deciding to demolish the house and build a new one. They got out many of their possessions before demolition and built a very pretty 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house well away from any large trees.

We lived in spain for 1½ years before we moved to Sweden to visit my best friend. We fall in love with the country and didn't want to go back to Spain. Still, we had to go back because of William's company. Four months later or son was born and we named him Kaden. We decided to give him a Swedish middlename and we choosed Olof.
Later that month I had a telephone call from a girl named Kaylin Anna. She also had the same surname as my maiden name and I started to think that it was quite funny until she told me that she was my half-sister. She told me that my (our) dad had an affair with her mother and that she was 20 years old now. I didn't belived her but I asked for her telephone number so I could call her later. After that I called my father and at first he didn't wanted so say anything about it but then he confessed.
He told me that he had an affair with this woman when my mother was pregnant with my brother Jayden. Jayden is two months older than Kaylin.
I hated my father for this, and I hated that oher woman because she gave birth to that "stupid child". I also talked with my mother and she told me that she didn't had any idea about this. They've got divorced that spring.
I decided that I wanted to meet Kaylin. After all, she was my sister. I flew to the USA and took Kaitlynn and Kaden with me. She looked alot like me. When I've got to know her I found out that she was a very intresting person and she said that Kaitlynn and Kaden was adorable.
