Tha Thompson family has grown tremendously in five years. Wil and Lydia were tested when Wil was arrested on child endangerment charges. He was released nine days later when one of his clients came forward and said that they had falsely accused Wil of harming their daughter at a therapy session. Wil did not press charges against the family, but has made some changes to the way he conducts therapy sessions. Lydia was very upset that Wil was arrested, but managed all right with him gone. She has nearly perfected the art of being a stay-at-home mom. She and Wil are thinking about becoming short-term foster parents.
Erica is now 22. Her son, Connor, is four now and attending preschool. Three years ago, Erica married a sweet young man named Owen. Owen works for the local news station and is a cameraman. He's pretty good at what he does and has been able to provide a solid living for Erica and Connor (and their three other children--Moira, Zane, and Octavia). Erica works part-time at the department store and tells us that having a connection to the outside world is what keeps her sane.
Jack is 21. He and his wife, Branwen, were married when both were 19. They were attending the same college and got married in their sophomore year. Jack graduated last year with a Criminal Justice degree and found a job with the FBI. Branwen dropped out of college full-time and became a part-time student when she found out that she was pregnant. Jack and Branwen's twins, Dylan and Lia were born that summer. They are one year old now and provide lots of entertainment for everyone.
Julia is 20. She married a guitarist in a popular band eleven months ago. She was in her second year of school and still has several to go, but decided to quit when she found out that she was expecting. Julia and her husband Ben welcomed a little girl three weeks ago. Maggie is a perfect little angel. Julia plans to go back to school when Maggie is older.
Lijah is 18. He is in his senior year of high school and wants to become a music therapist. He still plays in a band and has gotten very good at playing the guitar. He and Julia's husband get along well.
Jonah is 17. He is a junior in high school and is still unclear about what he wants to do with his life. He no longer wants to become a monk, but is becoming interested in art and photography.
Tori and Carly are 16. They are also juniors in high school and they both have big dreams. Tori wants to be an actress and has been in quite a few short local films and is trying out for one in California at the end of this year. Carly wants to be a professional soccer player. She's been playing soccer since the girls were seven and has gotten very good at it.
Isaiah is 14. He is in eighth grade and has decided to become an elementary school teacher. He wants to work with fourth graders, but is finding his science class this year very interesting as well.
Jude is 12. He is in sixth grade. He plays almost every kind of sport and especially enjoys karate.
Heather is 11. She is also in sixth grade. She doesn't like school very much and is certainly the diva of the family. She and Jude still do not get along too well. Heather does gymnastics.
