The neighbours are driving us batty. First it was their screaming children. I mean, our kids aren't exactly angels and there are a lot of them, but they don't run amok around the neighbourhood shrieking with the best of 'em. Which is what the next door kids do. That annoyed us, but we didn't say or do anything because we figured kids will be kids. Then the blasting music at midnight began. And the people coming and going at all times during the night. One night we got fed up and called the police. They came over to the neighbours' house and told them to tune it down. The neighbours know we were the ones who called the cops and aren't speaking to us. Joy.
