Petra Katherine was born in late March and from the start looked just like her daddy! Her hair is as red as could be and she has bright blue eyes. From very early on it has been decided that she loves to make messes and PLENTY of noise. She could sit banging on pots and pans in the kitchen for hours! We've learned to put up with the noise! Here is a picture of her on a weekend trip to the beach.
We have also bought a new house. It's a small cottage about a mile from a lake, where we love to swim and relax. I must say that Petra does enjoy the water! It seems that she got that from me. The home is in Ireland and we absolutely love it. Jack has told me that although he used to dread the concept of settling down for one place for his entire life, he would be happy here. He's still a roamer deep down, though. The village is charming and the neighbors delightful! This is our new home:
