Your grandmother/father died. You decided to honor him/her with in the baby's middlename. We couldn't believe it when we found out that we were expecting a second set of twin girls! My grandmother, Paula Janet, passed away exactly a week before Sarah and Leah were born, and Silas and I decided to honor her with the girls' middle names. We ended up using Pauline and Jane rather than Paula and Janet to give the girls' a little bit more individuality, and also we liked those variations better -- more classy and timeless.
