"This is our daughter, Lindsey."
You say: Cute name. Hi, Lindsey,
You think: Lindsey is a cute name but a bit trendy and cutesy.
"This is our daughter, Aurora. She goes by Rory."
You say: Pretty name! Hi, Rory.
You think: Aurora is a pretty name (not something I would use though). Rory is a cute nickname but I don't like the "roar" part in it.
"This is our daughter, Lydia. Sometimes we call her Lyddie. She likes either."
You say: Pretty name!
You think: Lydia and Lyddie are both nice. I wouldn't use them though.
"This is our daughter, Maeve."
You say: What a pretty name! Hi, Maeve.
You think: Maeve is a pretty name. I like how it isn't really popular either.

"This is our daugter, Courtney."
You say: Cute name. Hi, Courtney.
You think: Courtney is a cute name but it seems a bit too trendy and dated.
"This is our daugter, Eloise."
You say: Hi, Eloise. I've never known an Eloise before. That's nice that you've chosen something unusual. She will feel more unique once she starts school.
You think: I dislike this name but at least it's not common.

You think: Pretty name but it's gotten too popular.
"This is our daugter, Lucy."
You say: Cute name. Hi, Lucy.

You say: Hi, Rylie. I love your name.
You think: I love the name Riley for a boy but I dislike like it for a girl.
