James was initially very excited about having a younger sibling to play with, but was rather disappointed when it was a baby girl. Being the only child for two years, James had a difficult time adjusting to having to share his parents with someone else. But fortunately as Rose is getting older he is finding it easier. We think Rose may end up being quite a tomboy if James has anything to do with it; he's already trying to get her interested in his favourite cars and trucks.
