Our story is a true L.A. love story. John was majoring in broadcast journalism in college, while I was taking theatre classes. He tried his hand at theatre, and thus, we met in an acting class. Though he did enjoy the course, he still preferred the less complicated world of broadcasting, and found a job, first as a reporter, and then as an anchor at a local station in LA. I, on the other hand, continued in pursuit of a television acting career. I suppose you could say I've had a certain level of success with a few roles in film and guest roles in television, but I'm still waiting for the big break to come my way :-)
We hit it off from the start and dated for three years, before he proposed, after a romantic dinner. I, of course, accepted, and we were engaged for about a year before we married on May 18th. The wedding was absolutely magical, everything I'd ever dreamed of and hoped for. We exchanged vows in the early evening at the church I grew up in, in a lovely candle-lit ceremony. Immediately following, we had our reception, and then honeymooned in Hawaii.
We've decided to make our home in the L.A. area; he wanting to continue work at the station he's at, and I wanting to continue to act. We're looking forward to life we've made together and for our love to grow even more!
