One of your children has an allergy. To what, how serious is it and how does the family accomodate it?
To make a long story short, we had a rather terrifying day when Joanna ended up being rushed to the hospital because her uncle, Theo, had given her some orange slices to eat while he was babysitting her, none of us knowing that she was terribly allergic to citrus. She's fine now, but obviously cannot eat any citrus fruit because we were told it could be very serious! Nate was slightly disappointed, as he has a weird habit of snacking on lemons, but got used to it quickly.
