You adopted five children (all siblings) from Germany but the problem is that they all have been violently assulted in their lives. You find out that two take drugs and one is hurting herself. How do you deal with this? You can choose their named and ages but it is three boys and two girls.

It has been two years since Eira's birth. Wil and Bekah applied to adopt international children a year and a half ago. They did not expect to be given five foreign children! They are between the ages of 7 and 16--3 boys and 2 girls. The children all have a history of abuse and assault. It has been difficult to get through to them, especially because they speak mostly in German. Hugo, the oldest, is 16. He has a lot of pent up anger and violence, but Wil also believes that he is ashamed of not being able to protect his siblings from his parents. Jonas is fourteen and very much like his older brother. He causes trouble almost wherever he goes. Wil and Bekah recently discovered that both Hugo and Jonas take drugs. They aren't sure how they got ahold of the drugs, but are working hard to get the boys to see that they are only hurting themselves. Katharine is the oldest girl--12. She is also very emotionally disturbed, and recently confessed that she has been burning and scratching herself. Bekah is happy that she is willing to get help, and she has been going to therapy with her younger brother and sister. Lara is 9, and she is very afraid of everything. She is very fascinated by both Eira and Amber. Bekah is trying to reach Lara through her young daughters. Nikolaus is the youngest, at 7. He is very quiet and subdued, and says hardly anything. He seems to like school, and does pretty well there. All five children are adjusting, slowly. Wil and Bekah will continue working with them until they are free from the burden of their past.
In addition to all of this madness, three days ago, Bekah gave birth to a little girl. They named her Amber Morgana. She is a beautiful little thing and full of life. She seems to have a calming influence on all of the other children, and she loves to just look around with her big hazel eyes.
