One of your children is expecting!
Your oldest child tells you he/she is homosexual. How do you react?
Instead of having children of your own, you have adopted the child(ren) of a deceased relative. Discuss.
A baby was left on the front step with a note saying (he/she) belongs to (husband). What happened? How does (wife) react? Will you keep the baby? If so, add (him/her) to your family with the tag shown in Darkest's family by Madeline Rose.
Wow. A lot has happened in the last seven years. Too much, almost. I mean, there have been trageties. Just, nothing Carlisle and I, and the kids, can't handle. Can you beleive that my little Simon is already 17? 17. In a year, he'll be at college. And my babies, Maribel and Bridget, are almost preteens! In a few years they'll be in middle school. Jeez. Time just flies doesn't it. By now you're probably wondering what has happened.
Well, around 3 years ago, Simon was 14. He came to us one night at dinner and told us he was in a relationship-- with another boy. I had already suspected he was homosexual. I could tell that, in the past year, he had been choosing words carefully, as if trying to hide something. He sometimes did slip up and say things like "That's so fabulous". And one day, a week before he came out, I was searching for a lost shoe and when I checked his closet, I found a book about being gay. There were other signs too. I guess I never put them together much. Around 1 year and a half ago, a few months after that night at dinner, he introduced us to his boyfriend, Sebastian. Carlisle and I don't think our kids' sexuality matters, as long as they're happy.
August and Octavia are also in relationships. August is dating a lovely girl named Evelyn. Evelyn isn't at all what I'd suspect August to date. Evelyn has that innocent, old fashioned style to her. She chooses to wear skirts that reach her knees and blouses- I've never seen her in jeans or t-shirts. Octavia's boyfriend, Jack, isn't someone I'm impressed with though. I don't think he's a good influence on Octavia, nor do I think Octavia is Jack's only girl. I've tried talking to Octavia, but she refuses to listen.
Lillian isn't dating anyone, nor are any other kids. But Lillian, well, has been Lillian. I've caught her having sex countless times. She always claims that the boy's her boyfriend, but if he is, she seriously can't keep relationships longer than a day. It didn't come as a suprise when Lillian came to us, telling us she was pregnant. Carlisle was furious. She was only 13 at the time, after all. I asked her if she knew who the father is and she said that she didn't have a clue. She wants to have a paternity test done. We agreed to this- as long as she pays for it. Last October, Lillian gave birth to Gretchen Violet.
Gretchen isn't the only baby in the house. Oh no. And I was NOT happy about this one. I came home from work one Friday, around a year ago, and a little while after I got home, the doorbell rang. When I opened it, there was noone there. As a closed the door, something caught my eye. A baby. Attached to her basket was a note that read:
"This is Cassandra Adelina.
She is Carlisle's.
Sorry"
I got furious. When Carlisle came a second later, to see who was at the door, I slapped him hard accross the face. He told me that yes, he did have a brief, very brief affair. He told me it only lasted a week, when we were having a bad fight. Cassie is a very adorable little girl though, and I have forgiven Carlisle.
Around two months ago, my younger sister and her husband were in a car crash. They didn't survive the impact and their 4 children were sent to us. I never admired my sister's name taste. She loved 'yooneighk' spellings. Her children's names were: EmmahLeigh Maddysen, Anthuneigh Camrrynne, Izakk Jhaidynn and Makaielah Grayzze. I happily took the 4 of them into my home, but requested we changed their names to proper spellings. Now they are Emily Madison, Anthony Cameron, Isaac Jayden, and Michaela Grace. We all miss their mother, my baby sister desperatly.
I hope my story wasn't too long
