Harris and Eira finally decided to marry and move out on their own. They are both done with school and they just had their third baby, another boy. They named him Blue Xander. I'm not crazy about naming a child a random colour and giving him a MN that is just one letter different from his brother's MN, but there's nothing that I can do about it now. We still help them out financially, because with the job Harris has, they can't support 5 people and pay the rent as well. Eira said she wants to work in the future when Blue gets bigger, and Harris is hoping to get promoted, so it should get better.
Orion and Sunniva are still busy with their music and I must say that their bands is really growing and getting better. Zion occasionally plays with them and it looks like he'll be a band member in the near future. The drummer of the band is going to move to France with his family next year, and then Zion will take his spot. Orion said he can only do that if he's good enough, and now Zion practices every day. Neve (we call Sunniva "Neve" these days) says he's actually good enough already, but Orion only told him that to make sure that Zion is really serious about joining their band.
Jojo doesn't spend most of his time behind the computer anymore. He's got a girlfriend, Catalina "Cata". She was in class with him and they started dating in secret. We did notice he went out a lot more, but we thought he was just hanging out with friends. One day he came home and told us he was going to be a father. This was quite a shock to us, since we didn't even know he had a girlfriend. We said we wanted to meet her, and he agreed to bring her next time. When she walked in I was even more shocked to see that she had a VERY big belly already. She was over 8 months along. She didn't really seem to care about how we felt about what was going on. She even said it wasn't really any of our concern anyway, that they were having a baby. Later we talked to Jojo about her, and he only defended her and seemed completely blind to how inappropriately this girl had behaved on our house. 3 weeks later she gave birth to a boy called Ajax Atticus "Jax". Jojo moved in with her and her parents to help take care of the baby. He dropped out of school, but didn't get a job, and Cata did the same. I can't believe he's throwing his life away like this; we didn't raise him to become a leech the rest of his life. I urged him to at least find work, if he wasn't going to study, but that made him angry and he didn't talk to me for a week.
Thor's plans of staying in Molly's class in highschool worked out. He insists she's NOT his girlfriend, but I'm doubting that. They may not call it what it is, but that doesn't change what it is. I'm happy for them, both Thor and Molly are getting good grades and seem to enjoy themselves.
Cadie has changed her mind about wanted to become a mother as soon as possible. I think she's seen how hard it is to raise a child, and she's seen that a 7 year old boy can be quite a handful. Her new plans are to become a lawyer. I have no idea where she got that idea from, but I'm happy that she's making ambituous plans for herself.
Ozzy has been doing better. He still loves mischief, but since we changed his school, he isn't really a problem anymore. His new teacher know very well how to handle him and I'm very thankful that he got placed in class with this teacher. Outside of school he's doing more sports and he's really enjoying it. At his own insistance he's playing football (soccer), he's taking kickboxing lessons and he swims.
Tristan is my little problem child. After constantly getting kicked out of schools and getting fired from a job 5 times, I should have expected what would happen next. He's in prison. He got into a serious fight and beat up two guys very badly. Apparently he knew them, and they had come looking for him to give him a beating. One of them had a baseball-bat and Tristan managed to get that bat and then used it to beat them far beyond the limits of 'self defence'. He has to be in prison for 11 months.
The day after Tristan got his sentence, I caught David packing. I asked him what he was doing and he said that now that Tristan wasn't living here that he expected that he wasn't welcome to live with us anymore. I was a bit relieved to hear that, because I was actually afraid that he was planning on leaving Tristan for good. I knew David had nowhere else to go, since he still didn't talk to his parents after they threw his out, so I told himhe was welcome to stay. I must say it's actually a great pleasure to have him living with us. He's so well behaved and helpful. He never gets into any trouble (that he caused himself), he has had a steady job for years now and frankly I'm wondering why this lovely boy would want to spend his life with a guy like Tristan. He was really gratefulk he could stay with us, he even started to cry while thanking me. Poor boy. I hope Tristan will change for the better in prison and realise what's important in life. As his mother I hope that, but I also hope that because David deserves someone who won't cause trouble on a daily basis.
