About a year after they got married, Chad and Evie decided that they wanted to expand their family. After a few months of trying, Evie found out she was pregnant, and she and her husband were ecstatic. Their son Chase was born nine months later, as healthy and perfect as can be.
Unfortunately, at about the same time, Chad's older brother Marshall, who was a single father, passed away unexpectedly at the age of twenty-seven. With Chad being the only surviving family member, he and Evie adopted four-year-old Brett, Marshall's son. With these two recent additions, the small apartment is nearly bursting at the seams, and the family is looking into moving into a bigger place soon.
