Declan and Freya met in Italy when they were both on vacation there. Freya was there with some of her friends and Declan was there with his girlfriend. The two of them really liked each other, but didn't do anything more than talk to, because Declan wasn't single. Declan's girlfriend wasn't happy with this and got really jealous. She slept with one fo the guys in Freya's group of friends, as revenge, because she thought that Declan was sleeping with Freya as well. When Declan found out about this he got really angry with her and broke up with her right then and there. He didn't go straight away to Freya, he actually went back home. Declan's ex was shocked when she found out later that Declan hadn't done anything but talk to her and followed her ex back home, to beg him to take her back. Declan wouldn't have any of that and remained single for a while. After about 2 months he found that he was still thinking about Freya and decided to call her. She hadn't stopped thinking about him as well and was really happy with the phone call. They decided to meet up and after a few months of dating they moved in together in Declan's house.
