The year is 1841. Wil and Mary have just gotten married. Wil is a farmer in eastern Ohio--practically in the wilderness. Both he and Mary were raised in Ohio and live in the same small, close-knit community that they were born in. Wil has eight siblings (6 sisters, 2 brothers) and Mary has four siblings (2 sisters, 2 brothers). Wil and Mary love spending time together and their dream is to own a prosperous farm.
Early in 1842 (January 15th, to be exact), Wil and Mary welcomed their first child--a little girl! Her name is Rosaline Belle, or Rosie. She was born just a few days before her due date and Mary is happy to report that she is healthy and strong. Wil assisted in Rosie's birth, as she was born during a blizzard and no one could get out to fetch a doctor or midwife. Rosie is a lovely infant and Wil and Mary have had an easy time of taking care of her so far and have enjoyed showing her off to various family members in the area.
I have two siblings and I have been a member of behindthename for over two years (wow! hard to believe).
