Jackie and Paula met at college. They both attended Connecticut University; Jackie was majoring in Music Theory, Paula in Biology. As Paula liked to put it, Jackie was more of a 'right-brainer, '- mostly interested in music and the arts; while she was more academically oriented. Needless to say, they helped eachother out, and liked one another from the start. They began dating, and were married 3 months after Paula graduated.
Paula and Jackie were thrilled when they discovered Paula was pregnant; even more so when they found out she was pregnant with twins- a boy and a girl. But yet again, this number multiplied and their little boy became their identical little boys! Once they got over the initial shock, Paula and Jackie accepted the situation as a blessing and a challenge. With triplets on the way, they had to focus on all they had to do to prepare; including names...
Both of their mothers insisted the children be named after them: Edith Beatrice and Agnes Ethel. While Paula and Jackie strongly disliked all of these names- they felt it important to honor their mothers in the names of their children. The boys were named using their mothers' initials- EB and AE. Maya was named for Jackie's sister. Edith and Agnes are both satisfied with this arrangment.
At this time, the 3 new additions to the Craige-Widells are settling in just fine. They are 2 weeks old, each with a dusting of light brown hair. Everything is going very well for the whole family.
