Random event: (Your original random event was that dad found out that the new one isn’t his, but since the new one is a hamster, the only weird thing about that would be that dad bothered to check… So I gave you another one that wasn’t the number you gave me) Someone in your family has saved the life of a stranger. What happened?
The most amazing thing happened. Margot saved a boy's life! She was at Dance Practice. She was waiting for her class to start and there was a mother waiting to pick up her daughter from a different class. Her 5 year old son was with her. He was eating a hard candy and jumping around. Suddenly he started chocking on the candy. Margot saw him chocking and ran over and gave the hymlich maneuver. It took 3 tries before the candy came flying out. Margot had learned how to do this at her Babysitting Course she was taking. She made it into the paper and the Mayor gave her an award. Margot is embarressed by all the attention she got from this and says "it's no big deal", but secretly I think she's pretty proud of herself. I know the rest of us sure are proud.
The family is doing well. Victor is doing well at his job and is hoping for a much antisipted promotion. Carys plans to return to work next year when Graham enters Kindergarten.
The Twins are growing so fast, they are now 14 year old Freshmen. Colleen is doing well. Her and Taylor are still best friends and spend ALL their time together. Colleen made it on the High School Jr. Varsity Basketball Team and plans to tryout for Softball in the Spring. Her grades are good B-C Average. Rowan is having a much more difficult time. Middle School was really hard for him. Kids who were previously kind, turned mean. Teasing him because of his Deafness, and because he needed a Para. Rowan turned inward and became very sullen. He stopped hanging around with Charlie and spent all his time locked up in his room alone. We are very concerned about him and he has been seeing a therapist for the last year, but still seems so depressed. Margot is doing well. She is now in 7th grade and is still a social butterfly. She didn't end up having to do summer school after 3rd grade, but DID after 4th. That was a wake up call to her and she now works just hard enough to pass, but doesn't put any more effort into it. She loves dance still and belongs to a local Dance Troupe that performs several times a year. Sarah is in 4th grade and doing well. She pulls average grades and is quite popular. She quit dance now spends most of her time texting with friends and talking on the computer. Graham is 4 and just a doll. He is active and all boy, always into mischeif :D . He is in preschool and is doing wonderfully. His class has a hamster and he decided he wanted one too, so we got him one. It's a girl and he named her Sally (after the movie CARS).
