Robert and Elsa were married in 1900, and in the same year welcomed their first daughter Dorathea( born May 2), whom they lovingly call Dora. In 1902, Dora became a big sister to Betty and Nora (Feburary 9th). Robert was a bit disapointed to have had three girls, but the family was still happy and stable.
Their first son was born, Walter (June 7th) . He is a good little boy who is loved by his older sisters. The attention left him in November 22nd 1904 when his sister Marianne was born, named for their French aunt.
The family thought they had enough children, when suddenly they were blessed with twins again (October 10th 1905), and Robert was very pleased with another son, who he named after his favourite brother Simon. His twin sister Joan Louise was a very small baby, but she is doing well.
