Welcome to round two of Darkest Congrats! Here’s where I am really regretting what I did to the greens last round. :P For everyone who is NOT green, this is where you get your first brat *ahem* child.

Once again, sorry! Not quite sure what to do with the brackets, so I'll keep doing what I was.

When I found out I was pregnant with Aderyn, as luck would have it Mathias was away for 2 weeks for work, and I was looking after Ethan. I'd been feeling iffy for a couple of weeks, so took a test, and was over the moon when it came up positive. Not one to miss an opportunity, I ordered Ethan an "I'm the big brother" shirt to wear to the airport when we picked him up. That kinda killed two birds with one stone- Ethan naturally wanted to know what the shirt said, and then what it meant, so we had a little chat about the "Baby in Clara's tummy." I don't think it quite sunk in until our gorgeous little girl was born, but he is over the moon, and calls her Baby Addie. Aderyn is a bit hard for him to manage- he calls her Ad-wyn. Too cute.

I'm a journalist and i travel all over the world. I had been in Africa and i was waiting to fly home - i was sitting with my head in the toilet of my airport hotel room for the fourth time in one morning when i first thought i could be pregnant. I had been sick on and off for the past week and i thought it was just a bug i'd picked up from some dodgy food. Out of the blue i thought "What if i'm pregnant?" but i dismissed the thought and boarded the plane - i told myself i'd do a test when i got home just to be on the safe side but i couldnt get the thought out of my head - it tortured me throughout the entire flight. When i got off the plane i just couldnt wait anymore, i had to know. I tore through the duty free, found a chemist, bought a test and locked myself in the airport loos. I went into shock when i saw 'positive' i just sat there on the toilet staring at the test for like 20 minutes - then it hit me and i started crying happy tears, i sat there and sobbed until a woman knocked on the door and asked me if i was alright - i opened the door and just flung myself on this complete stranger and started hugging her. I told Rowan that evening - as soon as i got in the door in fact. I opened the door, shouted 'i'm home' and went into the kitchen. Rowan was making dinner - he dropped everything and ran to me and hugged me and spun me round. I said "Ive got a present for you" and i fished out the test from my bag. The look on his face was priceless. We didnt want to tell Sam until we were absolutely certain so i did three more tests - all positive. So the next night at the tea table i said 'Sam I'm going to have a baby. You're going to have a brother or sister'. But that was nine months ago and finally our daughter is here! We named her Fflur Eirwen Carys because Rowan's mother's family is welsh.
Sorry i got totally carried away again!!! I promise i wont write so much next time!

I just had my first baby, Johann! I was thrilled when I found out, but didn't know how Harvey would feel. He was visiting his brother Luke, and I couldn't go because I was having a hard time at work. Anyway, I called him, and said that I was pregnant. It turned out he was thrilled, and he even came back a day early.

I was thrilled to find out that Russell and I were expecting our first child together, and wanted to find the perfect way to tell him of our little miracle. Conveniently, it was rather close to Father's Day, and so I decided to incorporate the holiday into my announcement. We spent the day with Travis, who is now two years old, and together, he and I gave him a gift, and signed the card, not just "Love Jen and Trav", but added a special little touch, with "Jen, Trav, and Baby". His expression was absoultely priceless, and he couldn't be more overjoyed at the impending arrival of our little one.
Travis is still quite young, and so, didn't entirely understand the nature of what was going on. I absolutely consider him to be my son, though, and so wanted him to share in our joy. We sat him down and explained that Daddy and Mommy were going to be bringing home a baby sister or brother to play with, and he seemed quite happy at the prospect of having someone to look after.
And so when Carrie came into the world, and he held her for the first time, with Daddy's help, the look on his face was one to remember for a lifetime. He adores his little sister with everything, and loves to show her off to everyone who comes for a visit.

Travis is still quite young, and so, didn't entirely understand the nature of what was going on. I absolutely consider him to be my son, though, and so wanted him to share in our joy. We sat him down and explained that Daddy and Mommy were going to be bringing home a baby sister or brother to play with, and he seemed quite happy at the prospect of having someone to look after.
And so when Carrie came into the world, and he held her for the first time, with Daddy's help, the look on his face was one to remember for a lifetime. He adores his little sister with everything, and loves to show her off to everyone who comes for a visit.

Well, we found out we were expecting in the oddest of all ways. The day after we went to go get my name legally changed to Megan Samantha Taylor Bazzoli (making Taylor a 2nd mn), we were getting ready to go somewhere with friends and I just felt awful. I was dizzy and all, but we went anyway. I had just finished my period for the month, so I never assumed I was pregnant. For 3 months we went on like this (I hadn't had a full-blown period-just spotting) when one night, we were getting ready for a party and my dress wouldn't zip, and I threw up! Rowan bought me a pregnancy test (3 actually) and after taking 2 positives, we went to the doctor the next morning and discovered I was indeed pregnant! The name Siana Gwendolyn honored our maternal grandmothers.
