The country of Impetigo has been ruled over by the Superbus family since the mid-8th century when the brave Emperor Filipo the Awesome lead the army to defeat the Visigoths (note: I'm not going for historical accuracy here so no need to correct any impossibilities!). Since then the noble and heroic Superbuses have ruled their subjects (and their subjects sheep) with a firm but gentle hand. The celebrate many holidays including St. Cleophibus' Day, as he is the patron saint of the country, Gorgeous George day, instated by a particularly beautiful, but vain, king, and of course Eat Yourself Silly Day, on which day the citizen of Impetigo just get down to the first order of business of most holiday celebrations and eat gluttonously. Traditional foods include carrots and beets (eschewed by young Impetigans throughout the country), Enscrumpled Beef (look it up on wikipedia), and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
