Greg has settled in well, and has found a friend in Jacob, a 14-year-old Wiccan boy we adopted. He surprised us by doing very well with baby Paul as well, and was rewarded with Paul saying something other than 'no' when they were playing a few days ago.
Ken had a bit more trouble settling in, as he was afraid of how the other children would react to his cutting. To his relief, they accepted him readily. Mami even chose to speak to him, a high compliment. He sees a psychologist every Wednesday evening, and she is pleased with his progress. Ken has not tried to kill himself again, although it will take time and effort to recover from his addiction.
Cole is doing well. Jazeps and Chelo, who both have one-year-old sons, have taken him under their wings. Cole has not yet gained custody of Jo, but he goes to court in a few days.
Vera had trouble adjusting to such a large family in the beginning, but she now enjoys that she is never on her own. She is somewhat of a tomboy at times, but has also befriended Annika. Storm is having even more trouble than Vera--Mr. Data and Yoda weren't happy to give up part of their turf to a kitten.
Alex was very shy for the first few days, but the hyperness of some of the older boys and Robbie drew him out. He is cautious about the oldest boys, especially Tad and Thiel, but is fine with sharing a room with Robbie.
