I was surprised, though happy, to find out I was expecting my first child. Jamison Brendan came into the world two weeks ago and is the joy of my life. He is named for and looks so much like his father, who has been entirely supportive from the beginning. Our son has brought us all the more closer together, and we plan on being married within the next few months.
My parents weren't exactly thrilled at my announcement, but slowly, they came around, and now that Jamison is here, they couldn't be any more proud to be grandparents. Jamison came into the world over summer vacation, and though I'm still a high school student, I'm not very sure about returning back at the start of the fall semester. I always wanted to be a stay-at-home mom with a large family, but I'm still not going to rule anything out in regard to future plans.
