This is my son: Romeo "Rome"
You Say: Nice to meet you Rome
You Think: I prefer Romeo to Rome, a lovely name.
This is my son: Tristan
You Say: Hello Tristan!
You Think: Adorable name, I love it.
This is my son: Paris
You Say: I really like your name Paris, I loved studying the Trojan War
You Think: It is almost a shame that there is a city named Paris because it kind of ruined the mythological history ofthe name
This is my daugther: Isolde [prn: i-sold/ee-sold, or ee-sol-day]
You Say: What a lovely name, nice to met you Isolde.
You Think: I really do like it, muc more refreshing then all the Isabelles running around
This is my daugther: Paradis [prn: paradee or paradiss not para-dice, this is a french LN & name of a town :)]
You Say: Hi Paradis!
You Think: It's interesting, I wouldn't guess Paradee as a pronunciation, but paradis is alright even though it looks like someone just forgot a letter.
This is my son: Michelangelo "Michael"
You Say: Nice to meet you Michelangelo!
You Think: Why ruin a fabulous name with boring and plain Michael. Angelo, Mico or Milo would be my nn choices.
