Thank you very much for the addition of these four wonderful children to our family!
Jenna loves being a second mother to the three youngest children. Shiloh likes having some more boys around the house (since before it was just him and Henry). Lia was overwhelmed by the addition of four more kids, but has since grown to love her new playmates (especially Willa).
Willa, 9, now plays both soccer and basketball at school. She seems to be a little happier now that she's living with us. She and Lia play together a lot, and Willa doesn't seem to mind that Lia is sometimes a bit cranky.
Phoenix, 4, bonded immediately with his other adopted brother Daniel. The pair follow Shiloh around all day long and enjoy chasing the dogs around the yard. Phoenix has shown himself to be very smart, but seems to pick things up faster when he does hands-on activities or is learning outside of a classroom setting.
Daniel, 4, hangs out with Phoenix all day long. The two are practically twins. He still misses his birth parents, and draws pictures of them sometimes. Daniel has calmed down a little since being put into our family's routine, but he still has behavior issues sometimes.
Anneke, 6 months, is the sweetest little baby. She will probably begin crawling soon, what with all this activity going on around her. Jenna especially likes Anneke and has taken to making sure her new little sister is always cared for and loved and given attention.
